Romarinho, on a decisive pass from Kanté, opened the scoring (63e), imitated in the following minutes by Jota (67e) and Coronado (73e).
At the same time, Al-Hilal, still without Neymar, dominated Al-Ettifaq (2-0) thanks to Malcom (24e) and Al Dawsari (41e). The Riyadh club is provisionally second in the standings, two behind Al-Ittihad.
