Paul Pogba has confirmed that he is in good physical shape and wants to get back on the pitch quickly to win trophies with Juventus.
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri confirmed on Saturday that Pogba has regained his fitness after rigorous training and is ready to make a comeback.
The player himself gave an update on his state of health and hinted that he is more than ever keen to return to the pitch and hand out trophies to Juventus fans.
Speaking to DAZN, Pogba opened up extensively on his state of mind: “The real Pogba? I only need minutes of play. I’m physically fine and I want to get back to the top. I’m hungry, like when I started here. I am only thirty years old. I want to give these fans trophies and the desire to come here to the stadium”.
The France international has made just 10 appearances for the Bianconeri since joining them as a free agent in 2022 from Manchester United. Subsequently, a knee problem kept him out of the game for a long time and even forced him to go under the knife. He missed the team’s entire preseason in the United States this year.
After a 1-1 draw with Bologna on Sunday, Juventus face Empoli in Serie A on September 3.
