Speaking to the press, Joan Laporta issued the following statement: “Recruitments? We will have enough margin to incorporate, there will be more than one”.
That’s exactly what fans want to hear, especially after a few years where the club has had to tighten the purse strings. Laporta is a born showman, and with a league title in his pocket since May, he can afford to turn up the heat a bit after a long period of the club spending their time lowering expectations.
There is also the possibility of doing even more business – we hear that Laporta want to sell Ansu Fati, and there is also interest in Marcos Alonso.
