AC Milan dominated Torino this Saturday in the second round of Serie A (4-1). Not without a double from Giroud.
It is of course premature when barely half of the matches of the 2e day of Serie A have been played but Olivier Giroud is indeed in control of the ranking of scorers in the Italian elite.
This Saturday at San Siro, the Milanese beat Torino 4-1 with the support of a double from the French striker from the penalty spot (43e65e).
Another tricolor international took part in the celebration, Théo Hernandez, scorer just before the break (45e+2). Pulisic opened the scoring for the Lombards (33e) but Schuurs had equalized for the Toro in stride (36e).
On the strength of this second victory in two outings, the Rossoneri took the lead in the championship, ahead of Hellas Verona who at the same time, and despite Aouar’s goal for La Louve, got the better of AS Roma. (2-1).
