Sparkling in the colors of Reims last season, Gunner Folarin Balogun is preparing to return to L1.
This is good news for the French elite. Successfully loaned by Arsenal last season to Reims, where he struck 21 times in the league, Folarin Balogun will play again in Ligue 1 in this 2023-2024 financial year. It is not in Champagne that the American international will shine this time but in the Principality, under the jersey of AS Monaco.
This Friday according to L’Equipe, the Gunners and their Rock counterparts have reached an agreement for the transfer of the 22-year-old center forward. After tough negotiations, it is certain that the native of New York will play for Monaco this season – for a nice compensation of around 30 million euros, plus 10 million euros in possible and various bonuses.

Not entering into the plans of the cannon club, Folarin Balogun is expected at La Turbie in the coming days. As soon as his medical visit is over, the person concerned will initial a new five-year lease.
