Mason Greenwood is now set on his fate at Manchester United. Following an internal investigation, the Mancunian club decided to officially part ways with the English striker, a few months after the charges for attempted rape and physical assault on his partner were dropped. Now, it seems unlikely that the 21-year-old will be able to relaunch his career in England, whether at club or with the national team. Nevertheless, the DailyMail reports this Wednesday that the native of Wibsey could bounce back under the colors of Jamaica.

Indeed, the British tabloid argues that Jamaica has reiterated its interest in Mason Greenwood after having tried his luck for the first time in 2021. Summoned only once with the Three Lions (against Iceland on September 5, 2020 as part of of the League of Nations), the English international is eligible for a change of sporting nationality because of his maternal roots and could start the process next month if he wishes, in accordance with FIFA regulations. Nevertheless, his main objective obviously remains to find a club as soon as possible…
