Thanks to a goal from young Leny Yoro at the end of the match, Losc took a small option on qualifying for the group stage of the Europa League Conference, this Thursday, against Rijeka.

Qualified for the Europa League Conference campaign after clinching 5th place in the L1 standings last season, Losc must first try to join the groups of this C4 by crossing the dam mark. Opposed to the Croats of Rijeka, this Thursday evening in Pierre-Mauroy, the Mastiffs won on the wire (2-1) during this first leg.

And the Northerners can thank their little nugget: Leny Yoro. The 17-year-old defender gave his team the winning goal in the 89th minute, rising above everyone else from a corner and putting his head under the crossbar of the Croatian goal.

Zhegrova responds to Pasalic

Before that, the very restless Edon Zhegrova had responded to the Croatian opener signed Mario Pasalic (0-1, 24th) just before the break (1-1, 43rd). The Mastiffs thus overthrew their opponent after dominating the debates, taking at the same time a short advantage before the return leg in a week, in Croatia.
