Bayern Munich legend Paul Breitner has slammed Neymar, who sarcastically thanked Al-Hilal for taking him to Saudi Arabia.
Breitner had harsh words for the former Paris Saint-Germain star, who has become the latest star to join the Saudi Pro League. The German legend has thanked Al-Hilal for keeping Neymar away from European shores, insisting he’s ‘just diving’ and offers nothing else.
The former star of Bayern and Real Madrid was thus released in the columns of the Bayrischer Rundfunk : “Thank you, dear Saudis, for buying Mr. Neymar, who has been one of the sneakiest footballers in recent years on this planet. One of the greatest footballers who just dives. Miserable! A very sneaky character. I have to say: thank you very much, we don’t have to put up with it anymore”.
Neymar may have failed to tap into his immense potential throughout his career, especially since leaving Barcelona. At PSG, he couldn’t help the club win the Champions League and never won the Ballon d’Or.
