Thibaut Courtois’ injury has turned Real Madrid’s plans upside down, but not only. Chelsea are also suffering the consequences of the loss of the Belgian goalkeeper on the Casa Blanca side, since Kepa Arrizabalaga flew to the Spanish capital for at least one season. If Robert Sanchez was also recruited this summer from Brighton, and even inherited number 1 recently, the goalkeeper will undoubtedly have to assert his place against Đorđe Petrović.

There BBC reports that the Serbian international (1 cap) is expected to commit to Chelsea in the coming days. The Blues have agreed with the New England Revolution, in MLS, for a transfer of around 14 M€. Considered one of the very best goalkeepers in the United States, Đorđe Petrović will compete with Robert Sanchez in the London cages. Standing 1.94m tall, the 23-year-old keeper represents the future of Serbia and perhaps that of Chelsea for years to come.
