Bayern Munich are on target for their new goalkeeper. In search of a doorman to come and compete with Sven Ulreich, the current holder in the Bavarian cages in the absence of Manuel Neuer, the reigning German champion has been eyeing Daniel Peretz for a few days. After having suffered a first failure in this case, the Munich team finally agreed with Maccabi Tel-Aviv for the transfer of the Israeli international (1 selection).
According to Sports Picture, the cost of the transaction is estimated at €5 million excluding bonuses. Maccabi will also get 20% on a possible resale of his protege. The 23-year-old is expected in Bavaria to undergo his medical examination and sign up for the next five seasons with Bayern Munich. The German media adds, however, that his transfer will be formalized after Maccabi Tel-Aviv’s play-off in the Conference League against Slovenian club NK Celje on Thursday.
