At 37, Sergio Ramos does not plan to remove his crampons. The former emblematic defender of La Roja is free of any contract this summer, since his departure from Paris Saint-Germain. But while his name was linked to several teams, including Sevilla, but especially Besiktas, the Spaniard should not ultimately fly to Turkey.

On the social network X (formerly Twitter), the Turkish club have publicly put an end to rumors of a potential arrival of Sergio Ramos. The reasons are simple: the player’s salary demands are far too high for Besiktas. After Sevilla and Club América, here is another track that flies away for the former captain of Real Madrid, who must surely count the days before the closing of the summer transfer window. If the Spanish press reports that Sergio Ramos would rather stay in Europe, MLS might just be the best option for the 37-year-old Spaniard. In the United States, players can commit to their next team until September 13, which would therefore give the ex-Parisian more time to find his potential destination.
