Real Madrid are considering signing Gabriel from Arsenal to replace injured Eder Militao.
THE Daily Mail rbrings that Real are considering buying Gabriel to replace Militao, who needs surgery after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in the first game of the season. Gabriel has also been linked with a potential move to Saudi Arabia this summer.
The Brazilian hasn’t started in either of Arsenal’s first two games of the season but the outlet say he is committed to the Gunners’ cause for the 2023/24 season as he continues to fight for a place in Mikel Arteta’s starting XI. The north London club shouldn’t feel pressured to sell, as Gabriel has a contract until 2027 at the Emirates.
The 25-year-old has been with the Gunners since 2020 and has made 120 appearances for the club in total, despite not being capped by Brazil yet. It remains to be seen whether Real will try to find another target before the transfer window closes.
