Brice Samba had it bad after the draw conceded by RC Lens against Rennes, Sunday, at the end of the 2nd day of Ligue 1.

A week after its debacle in Brest (3-2), RC Lens experienced a new disappointment against Rennes on Sunday, on the occasion of the 2e Ligue 1 day.

After opening the score, the vice-champion of France was joined in the score on penalty and had to settle for a draw (1-1). A scenario that made Brice Samba bitter, annoyed by the faults committed in the box by his defenders.

“Like last week, some game facts are not in our favor. Three penalties conceded in two games, that’s a lot… We’ll have to stop conceding, he cursed at the microphone of Prime video. But I don’t blame the guys, because I know it’s very hard at the start of the season. We see it with all the other teams, the results are complicated to obtain. We are still happy to take our first point. »

The tricolor goalkeeper also took care to pay tribute to his opponent. “We could have won this match, yes, but above all we came across a great Rennes team, which will hurt this season”, he added.
