Who will occupy the cages of Bayern Munich next season? With the absence of Manuel Neuer and the departures of Yann Sommer as well as Alexander Nübel, Sven Ulreich is currently the only one who can take on this responsibility. As such, the Munich management has renewed its confidence in him by confirming him in place of number 1 while awaiting the return of Manuel Neuer. But according to Sky Germanythe German club is working behind the scenes to find him a competitor.

This Sunday, German media reported Bayern Munich’s interest in Maccabi Tel Aviv goalkeeper Daniel Peretz. Considered a pure talent in the making in his country, the Israeli international (1 selection) is open to leaving and has already given his verbal agreement to join Bavaria. In the process, the German club would have made a first offer of up to 5 M€ bonus included, rejected by Maccabi Tel Aviv which requires at least 7 M€ for the 23-year-old player. While the negotiations are getting more complicated, the Germans are getting impatient and are already considering falling back on another target. To be continued…
