Swept 5-1 by Newcastle on the first day of the championship, Aston Villa had to be forgiven in front of their public. Unai Emery’s players received an Everton team dominated by Fulham the previous week (1-0). An interesting duel, therefore, which quickly turned on its own. Quickly, John McGinn was able to take advantage of a service from Leon Bailey to find the fault (18th). Immediately afterwards, Douglas Luiz doubled the bet from the penalty spot (24th).

Upon returning from the locker room, Leon Bailey was responsible for pushing Everton a little further (51st) before the young Colombian striker John Duran scored a few seconds after coming into play (75th). A 4-0 victory that allows Aston Villa to forget their failed entry last week. For Everton it is more worrying on the other hand.
