This is asserted by the Timeswhich reports that the Frenchman reached a verbal agreement with PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi, promising him to sign a new contract.
If the Bondynois did not sign this agreement, he would lose his rights to loyalty bonuses worth 100 million euros.
A huge loyalty and signing bonus was given to Mbappé when he agreed to renew his contract with PSG in 2022.
THE Times adds that the new contract could ultimately be a multi-year lease, although a release clause of a minimum amount should be included.
