Jude Bellingham was once again the hero of Real Madrid as they won 3-1 away to Almeria in La Liga.
Los Blancos traveled to Andalusia after starting the 2023/24 season on a positive note last weekend with a 2-0 win at Athletic Club.
However, they suffered an early setback at the Power Horse Stadium, when former youth team star Sergio Arribas burst into the penalty area to put the hosts ahead.
The away side then awoke, with England international Jude Bellingham scoring his second goal for the club, following the one he scored in Bilbao.
Bellingham’s intervention seemed to have tipped the balance in favor of the visitors, but Toni Kroos’ goal was disallowed by VAR just before the break.
But it was Madrid’s new star who helped Carlo Ancelotti’s side claim all three points, as Los Blancos looked to snatch a draw.
Kroos’ cross was perfect for the former Borussia Dortmund playmaker, who entered the box and gave Real the lead.
Bellingham showed the full extent of his talent in the final moments to seal the victory, slipping the leather to Vinicius Junior to score with a superb header.
