For his first match at Anfield, Liverpool overcame Bournemouth (3-1) on Saturday in the Premier League, Jürgen Klopp’s Reds being led by two players who sublimated the game of their team: Dominik Szoboszlai and Diogo Jota.

After taking a point at Chelsea (1-1) last week, sometimes being jostled, Liverpool really launched their season in their temple of Anfield, winning against Bournemouth (3-1), Saturday after – noon on behalf of the 2nd day of the Premier League.

A home match that allowed Jürgen Klopp to put in place his (new) game plan, obviously with Mohamed Salah as a star player, Luis Diaz as a blaster on the left, but also now Diogo Jota as an altruistic center forward and Dominik Szoboszlai in a hard-hitting attacking midfielder.

If the Reds defense had a disastrous start to the match, Antoine Semenyo opening the scoring after a ball lost by Trent Alexander-Arnold in the middle of the field (3rd), Liverpool started the machine. Diaz, found by Jota, scored with a superb acrobatic recovery (28th). Then Szoboszlai then obtained a penalty that Mo Salah converted in two stages against Neto (36th).

LFC found themselves 10 against 11 on the hour mark after a severe red given to Alexis Mac Allister (58th), but the locals continued to attack and, on a long shot from Szoboszlai, Jota took advantage of the ball pushed back by the Cherries goalkeeper to score the 3-1 goal (62nd).

Liverpool held on until the end, against a Bournemouth who also started with a draw. The Reds are playing a new shock next weekend, in the lair of Newcastle.
