The second day of the Premier League continues. For its first at Anfield this season, Liverpool welcome Bournemouth (kick-off at 4 p.m., match to be followed live on FM). The Reds, fifth last year, have already lost points by conceding a draw at Chelsea (1-1) at the start of the championship and must definitely start their season with a success this afternoon. The Cherries also started with a draw against West Ham (1-1) but the objective is very different and remains maintenance.
For this meeting, Jurgen Klopp has two absentees (Thiago and Bajcetic) and confirms the eleven aligned at Chelsea. Diogo Jota will therefore evolve at the forefront with Diaz and Salah at his side. Gakpo and Szoboszlai are returned to the midfield with Mac Allister. The defense is that expected with in particular the presence of the French Ibrahima Konaté.
