After OL’s defeat against Montpellier, Laurent Blanc indicated that it might be necessary to change coach.

Olympique Lyonnais continued their nightmarish start to the season with a heavy defeat (1-4) at home to Montpellier. A match marked by Rémy Riou’s blunder on Montpellier’s first goal, the crack of Alexandre Lacazette excluded or the similarity of the goals conceded against by OL.

Asked after this second defeat in as many matches this season, Laurent Blanc seemed disillusioned at the microphone of Prime Video. Aware of the difficulties of his team and the many absences (A. Lopes, Lovren, Mata, Alvero, Lacazette), the Lyon technician responded in a totally lunar way after being asked about the changes to be made by the end of the transfer window. “Maybe we need to change coaches… Why not ? No, but you ask me what to do, I tell you that maybe we need to change coaches. If, as you say, we have a quality squad tonight, then Montpellier’s squad is very, very high quality, because they have hurt us and I think they have the players we are missing.dropped the former coach of the Blues.
