The phenomenal Kaoru Mitoma scored an exceptional goal for Brighton as he punched through Wolverhampton’s defense on Saturday in the Premier League.

Kaoru Mitoma never ceases to amaze the world of football. The Japanese winger, a fantastic dribbler, exploded into broad daylight last season in the Brighton jersey. The team managed by Roberto De Zerbi became the Premier League’s huge surprise, to deliver the first-ever European Cup qualification in the club’s history.

The 26-year-old was very strong on Matchday 2 of the Premier League and a Seagulls meeting at Wolverhampton. Starting from the left side at full speed, Mitoma escaped three opposing players and obliterated a last Wolves defender to finish all in lucidity. A goal as crazy as Son Heung-Min’s solitary raid in December 2019.

Mitoma, recruited two years ago for 3 million euros in Japan then loaned a season in Belgium (to Union Saint-Gilloise), scored 7 goals and gave 5 assists last season in 33 league matches. The arrival of De Zerbi, after the departure of Graham Potter for Chelsea, changed everything for the Blue Samurai.
