According to information from Corriere dello Sportthe Saudis could ask UEFA to join the Champions League in 2024 and its brand new formula with 36 qualified teams. Indeed, Saudi Arabia could well get a wild card from UEFA for the champion of the Saudi Pro League, who could thus compete in the most prestigious of European cups.
