While he was to engage with Chelsea, the French hopeful winger Michael Olise will ultimately not join the Blues.

Huge surprise. In the sights of Chelsea in recent weeks, Michael Olise was to engage with the Blues. RMC Sports we learned that the London club had agreed for an amount of just under 40 million euros. However, everything has just changed in this case. The young Frenchman finally decided to extend his adventure under the colors of Crystal Palace.

Indeed, the 21-year-old right winger has renewed his lease for an additional year. He is now tied to the Eagles until June 2027, as its president Steve Parish revealed on Twitter. “I am absolutely delighted to announce that Michael Olise has decided to commit his future to Crystal Palace Football Club and this afternoon signed a new four-year contract with the club”says the president.

Olise will not play again for several weeks

International French hopefuls, Michael Olise played 40 matches with Crystal Palace last season for a record of 2 goals and 11 assists. He then played the Euro Espoirs with the Bleuets, but was injured against Norway. Thus, the 21-year-old is unlikely to return to competition until next month, at best.
