This weekend will take place the second day of the French championship. The opening of this second day will take place this Friday on the lawn of Metz which hosts Olympique de Marseille. Then it will be followed by Olympique Lyonnais – Montpellier this Saturday at Groupama Stadium.

Initially scheduled for 5 p.m., the kick-off between the two teams has been postponed and will finally start at 7 p.m. The Professional Football League announced this Thursday in a press release that the kick-off was postponed due to a heat wave alert in the Rhône department.

Defeated on the first day against RC Strasbourg, Olympique Lyonnais must recover and win in front of their supporters at Groupama Stadium. A defeat could plunge the club into a mini crisis at the start of the season.

For its part, the MHSC was held in check during the first day against Le Havre (1-1). Michel Der Zakarian’s players will also want to take the three points and start their season well.

Physically diminished, Montpellier captain Teji Savanier is uncertain for the meeting. No decision has yet been made regarding his participation in the match against Les Gones. Reply in a few hours…
