Harry Kane believes winning trophies with Bayern will boost his chances of winning a Ballon d’Or, as Leo Messi is on course to win the prize in 2023.
The England international believes he can establish himself as a bona fide Ballon d’Or contender – with Lionel Messi the big favorite to win it in 2023 – after moving to the German champions for a whopping £100million sterling. Kane believes the transfer opened up opportunities for him for team success and personal recognition and admits it was one of the factors that motivated him to seek a new challenge.
