Neymar at PSG, it's over!

On Tuesday, Neymar Junior finalized his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Al Hilal. The Brazilian becomes the latest big name to join Saudi Arabia, after Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Neymar ended up signing in Saudi Arabia and while Al Hilal supporters are delighted with this news, this is not the case for everyone in the world of football.

Ex-Barcelona player Jonathan Soriano played for Al Hilal and he thinks Neymar made a mistake going to the Middle East, as explained MD.

“Neymar has enough qualities to lead a team looking to win the Champions League. I think he threw in the towel. There is no Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, so he could have ruled world football with Mbappé and Haaland. Instead, he decided to make more money”.

While Neymar is certainly a knock on Al Hilal, it’s a shame the former FC Barcelona star is leaving European football at the age of 31.
