Manchester City-Sevilla: Pep Guardiola’s eleven with a surprise

Winner of the first Champions League in its history last season, Manchester City thus won the right to play this Wednesday evening (9 p.m.) in the European Super Cup against Sevilla FC, winners of the Europa League.

A meeting for which Pep Guardiola is deprived of his playing masters Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva, but who can count on his serial scorer Erling Haaland, holder at the forefront of the attack. The Norwegian is surrounded in particular by Jack Grealish and Phil Foden. Expected alongside the Scandinavian cyborg, Julian Alvarez finally starts on the bench, the young Cole Palmer was preferred to him. Note the first tenure of summer rookie Gvardiol.
