Aymeric Laporte could join Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané at Al-Nassr, with Manchester City having accepted a bid for the defender.
According to The Athletic, City have made the decision to accept Al-Nassr’s offer for the Spanish defender. This paves the way for Laporte’s potential transfer to the Saudi club.
Laporte faced considerable challenges at City after falling down the hierarchy and made just 12 Premier League appearances the previous season.
The arrival of Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig, also a left-handed central defender, further complicates his situation at the Etihad.
Laporte wants to play regularly to stay in contention with the Spanish selection for Euro 2024. Luis de la Fuente is counting on him as a left central defender and to keep his place, the defender wants to play as much as possible, especially since the international tournament is less than a year away.
