Manchester City is busy behind the scenes for the succession of Riyad Mahrez. As we revealed to you a few days ago, the reigning European champions have a crush on Lucas Paqueta (an offer of more than €80m is in the works), but not only that.

As we revealed to you exclusively a few days ago, three other leads were being studied: Bradley Barcola (OL), Michael Olise (Chelsea) and Jérémy Doku (Stade Rennais). Since then, Olise has been on the verge of joining the Blues. But the Cityzens are advancing in the Doku file.

West Ham have made an offer

From Belgian sources close to the player’s entourage, we can tell you that a contractual agreement for a period of 5 years has been found between City and Rennais. A first offer should also soon arrive on the offices of the SRFC. Besides, his brother and agent Jefferson Doku has been seen in recent hours in Paris. As a reminder, the Rouge et Noir are ready to sell the Belgian international if they recover at least €50m.

Under contract until 2025 and author of 12 goals and 10 assists in 91 matches, Doku is not yet promised to the Mancunians. According to our information, West Ham are also in the game and the Hammers have even already made an offer to Rennes. The amount has not filtered, but the hours of Doku in Brittany are more than ever counted.
