After having definitively recruited Mauro Icardi this summer, Galatasaray is actively working on the file of another former PSG, in the person of Sergio Ramos.
At the end of a conclusive loan, Mauro Icardi convinced the leaders of Galatasaray to recruit him for good. Author of twenty-three goals and eight assists in twenty-six games, all competitions combined, the Argentine striker has therefore found a way out to escape from the loft set up by Paris Saint-Germain. Committed until June 2026, Wanda Nara’s husband could well be joined by a former Parisian partner.
According to information from AS, Galatasaray are said to be working on the recruitment of Sergio Ramos. In the sights of several teams around the world (Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Spain), the defender who spent two more than mixed seasons at Paris Saint-Germain is also of interest to the Turkish club. The Iberian media specifies this Tuesday that a two-year offer has already arrived on the table of its agent. Galatasaray would also offer him a salary of 5.5 million euros per year.
Play the C1
For his part, Sergio Ramos hopes to compete in the Champions League next season and joining the Istanbul club could be a solution. Provided, however, that the latter manages to qualify for the final table. For the time being, Galatasaray is well placed to reach the play-offs since it easily won its first leg of the third qualifying round of the Champions League against Ljubljana (3-0) before the return scheduled for Tuesday in Turkey. He will then face the winner of Klaksvik-Molde.
According to Turkish media Fanatic, Sergio Ramos has told Galatasaray that if he doesn’t receive any hard and stumbling offers from Saudi Arabia, he will most likely sign up with them. Case to follow.
