Real Madrid rookie undergoes knee surgery

Recruited by Real Madrid this summer, Arda Güler underwent meniscus surgery on Monday and will be out for around 6 weeks.

Promising recruit of real Madrid after graduating from Fenerbahçe, Arda Guler will have to wait before making his debut with the Merengues. Touched in the right knee last July during the American tour of the Spanish club, the Turkish player was successfully operated on Monday, as indicated by Real.

Another blow for Real

Meniscus operated, Güler will be away from the field for about 6 weeks, so he could return to competition at the end of September. This absence is in addition to those of Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao, both seriously injured in the knee.
