PSG striker Neymar is willing to join Al-Hilal, but he is plotting a maneuver that may not please his future employer.
In all likelihood, Neymar will sign in the coming days for Saudi giants Al-Hilal. All parties seem to agree on this transfer and as soon as the Saudis have spent the 90 million requested by PSG, the deal will be approved. The Brazilian genius will therefore join the Gulf. But, and as surprising as it may seem, he only intends to make a simple detour.
Neymar is already thinking about after Saudi Arabia
The daily L’Equipe revealed on Monday that the PSG player has no intention of joining the Riyadh team for the long term. His idea is to stay there only two seasons and then return to Europe and prepare for the 2026 World Cup. He will then be thirty-three years old.
The former Barcelona player will however have everything to please himself on Saudi soil. He will benefit from wonderful salary conditions, much higher than those received by Cristiano Ronaldo, for example, from the rival of Al-Nassr. These annual revenues should turn between 180 and 220 million euros, between his fixed salary, incentives on co-investments and gains on image rights which will be exclusive to him. And beyond the lure of gain, there will be the possibility of becoming one of the heads of the gondola of a championship in full growth and which has already welcomed other renowned stars (Benzema, Fabinho, Mané, Milinkovic-Savic, Koulibaly).
On the side of Paris, we are hardly concerned about Neymar’s inclinations. Within the club, we are pleased to have found a way out for him.
