Atlético de Madrid wants Joao Felix to leave this summer, but not at any price.
Joao Felix is still part of the Atlético Madrid squad, but there isn’t really a consensus on where he might end up.
Felix has said he wants to play for FC Barcelona, and on Sunday night it was reported that Barcelona had offered a swap deal for Felix, with Ansu Fati the other way.
This offer was rejected by Atletico Madrid. Report says that Atleti either want to sell Felix or negotiate a loan with an obligation to buy, which the club colchonero remain firm on so far.
For his part, Fati is still unwilling to leave the club. He is aware of the club’s position, which considers him not indispensable, but he would not be interested in a transfer to the Rojiblancos. If he leaves, he will only do so if a team offers him an offer that tempts him.
As for FC Barcelona, it still has to fulfill a series of conditions before considering recruiting the Portuguese talent. If the Barcelona hierarchy is clearly interested in a transaction, the sports department does not consider it a priority.
