If a total agreement is about to be found between the leaders of Paris Saint-Germain and their counterparts at AS Roma regarding the transfer of Reno Sanches, as we revealed to you very recently, the management of the Italian club also made a very good progress in a file leading to another player from the Parisian club, who became one of his main breeding grounds during this summer transfer window. It is also unsurprisingly Leandro Paredes, considered an “undesirable” by his management.

After a mixed loan in Turin with Juventus, the Argentine midfielder returned to Paris but his status has not changed. Always put aside, Leandro Paredes therefore wishes to revive in a championship that he particularly likes. And that’s good, AS Roma is ready to welcome its 29-year-old former player now. Indeed, the Albiceleste international had been loaned to Chievo Verona before joining the Roman club for a season, also on loan, then before joining the Italian capital permanently a year later.

A transfer estimated at 5 million euros

Leandro Paredes will therefore make his big return to Rome if his transfer is confirmed in the coming days. And according to our latest information, everything should accelerate in this case since a total agreement has even been completely found between the leaders of the two formations. Bought for 40 million euros from Zenit Saint Petersburg, the Argentine midfielder will not be sold for that sum in Italy. The amount of his transfer is also estimated at around 5 million euros.

Finally, Leandro Paredes will sign a 3-year contract with AS Roma. For its part, PSG limits the damage by getting rid of a player who has become too cumbersome while obtaining the sum requested at the time of negotiations. If Galatasaray was also interested and seemed ready to welcome the Argentinian, it was therefore ultimately towards one of his first loves that the midfielder chose to spin. The formalization should be announced in the coming days. To be continued…
