Ansu Fati is reportedly the subject of a €50m bid from an unnamed Premier League club as FC Barcelona are set to leave the club.
Fati has been linked with a move away from FC Barcelona this summer as the Spanish club are strapped for cash. Today, Sport claim the Catalan club are ready to receive a €50m offer from an unnamed Premier League side.
Despite recently activating another ‘economic lever’, Barca still need to raise funds in order to register players for the new season. Moreover, Xavi refused to rule out a summer move for the 20-year-old, who scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists in all competitions last term. However, he has only started 14 times in 51 appearances.
Ahead of Sunday’s La Liga game against Getafe, Xavi said: “I don’t understand when you say I’m not very convincing. Until the window closes (anything can happen). I am happy with him, he is the legacy of this club. I don’t know how to say it. The market will decide, until August 31. I can’t say he’s going to stay because he might not. But I’m happy with him: he’s a player for the present and the future.
