Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino believes his side should have taken all three points in Sunday’s draw with Liverpool in the Premier League.
The Pochettino era at Stamford Bridge began with an entertaining 1-1 draw between Chelsea and Liverpool on Sunday. Axel Disasi’s first goal canceled out Luis Diaz’s opener, while another was disallowed for offside.
Pochettino told Match of the Day after the match: “I don’t believe that’s (fair). I think we deserved a little more overall. We are happy, but at the same time disappointed because we wanted to win and we deserved to win, but this is only the beginning”.
This campaign promises to be another transition for Chelsea, although the club looked much better than under Graham Potter and Frank Lampard last season.
