July 30, 2023. AS Monaco and Fulham are close to an agreement for the transfer of Tosin Adarabioyo. This Saturday, August 12, the 25-year-old English central defender is still not on the Rock, enough to question many supporters of the Principality club. But how to explain this? According to English sources, the main reason why the deal is not closed is Franck Trimboli, an influential agent in European football working for CAA Base Soccer.
The latter was mandated by the sporting director of Fulham Alister Macintosh to negotiate the exit of his defender. Problem, Trimboli is doing everything to place Tosin Adarabioyo at Tottenham rather than at ASM with whom he is also discussing. Monaco offered 7 M€, and has the favors of the player, does not really want to discuss with the co-founder of Base Soccer. It therefore remains to find a solution which annoys the Monegasque club as much as the Fulham player, who was not on Fulham’s score sheet against Everton this afternoon for the resumption of the Premier League and who should not not play with the London club again until his future is finally sealed.
