Nantes discusses with Fiorentina for Christian Kouame

In search of an attacker, FC Nantes has decided to move forward on Christian Kouamé, under contract with the Fio until June 2024 with an optional year. The 25-year-old Ivorian international striker, on loan in 2021-22 to Anderlecht, has often been cited in Ligue 1 in previous years. This time it could be the right one.

The Canaries are currently in talks with Fiorentina over the terms of a loan with an option to buy. The Italian club wants to put an option at 10 M€ while FC Nantes only offers 5.5 M€ but will raise its offer. Note that the Fio striker wants € 1.5 million in net salary per year.
