The Collectif Ultras Paris still hopes for a positive outcome in the conflict between Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain.
In the Kylian Mbappé soap opera, there are PSG supporters who think that their club is right to show firmness with the Bondynois, and those who believe that he should be reinstated immediately, despite the risk that he will go free in 2024. But what does the Collectif Ultras Paris think?
“Regarding Mbappé, the CUP we will wait a little longer to see how things evolve before taking a position, replied Romain Mabille to Canal +, in comments relayed by Olivier Tallaron. The media game also influences things quite a bit. We really believe that it is possible to find a solution where everyone wins. We are of course satisfied with the strengthening of the club’s institution, the new policy since the takeover and the desire to have players 100% invested. »
“Good relations with Kylian”
On this last point, the CUP stood out at the end of last season by openly calling for the departure of certain mercenaries. Marco Verratti, Lionel Messi and Neymar had been the victims of insults from Parisian supporters, in front of the Factory. But Mbappé is not in their sights.
“We regret the situation since Kylian is a player with whom we have a good relationship and who has always done the job on the pitch, says Romain Mabille. We have the best player in the world and he’s probably not going to play so it’s very unfortunate. Especially since with the new dynamic of the coach, we all want to see what happens. »
The CUP leader adds that his group “has a very good relationship with the club at the moment” and adds that “for us nothing matters more than the club”. By respecting this principle, Romain Mabille considers “that everyone is able to find common ground. »
