The Italian tactician will thus have to do without the services of Thibaut Courtois for a good part of the coming season, since the Belgian is suffering from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
“After the tests carried out on our player Thibaut Courtois, the diagnosis reveals a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee. The player will undergo surgery in the coming days.”, indicates the club of the Spanish capital in an official press release published on its site. Several months of absence are therefore to be expected.

News that comes just over 48 hours from the start of Madrid in La Liga, with a difficult entry duel on the lawn of Athletic. Suffice to say that this is one of the worst things that could happen to Real Madrid, which should logically line up Andriy Lunin for this match against the Basques.
