FC Barcelona seemed unable to attract offers for their strikers at the start of the summer, but if reports are to be believed, two clubs have knocked on Ansu Fati’s door in the past few days.
Paris Saint-Germain were reportedly interested in his services but Ansu had no intention of listening to this offer.
According to Diario AS’ Javi Miguel, Ansu has also received an ‘irresistible’ offer from Saudi Arabia.
Gerard Romero claims that so far Ansu is resisting and has said no to the Saudi recruitment drive for now. He has maintained his position, both privately and publicly (through his agent Jorge Mendes), saying he wants to stay and succeed at Barcelona.
It’s been suggested that Ansu isn’t happy with the game time he’s been getting, and there’s no doubt that this topic will come up again this campaign.
In fairness to Xavi Hernandez, Ansu often missed those opportunities last season but after a very successful pre-season, the Fati of yesteryear may be back for good. FC Barcelona have always said publicly that they have no intention of selling the young player.
