After a home shirt in the club’s traditional colours, sky blue and white, Manchester City is unveiling this time the second shirt that Pep Guardiola’s players will wear during the 2023-2024 season, with the aim of repeating the feat of the hat-trick Premier League-Champions League-FA Cup made last year, and why not add an English League Cup, during which the Skyblues were eliminated in the quarter-finals against Southampton. And for its away shirt, Puma opted for a two-tone garment, with white and some slightly darker mill-shaped patterns, as well as garnet, while the gold highlights the logos on the front of the tunic.
“Like the city itself, the new kit is ‘a little different. Manchester is renowned for its industrial age, history and heritage. The new Away kit is inspired by towering mills, bustling warehouses and city industry. The tonal graphic print gives the jersey a retro touch and is inspired by Manchester weaving patterns.
