Chelsea have ruled out signing Dusan Vlahovic in a swap deal with Romelu Lukaku as they want to sell the Belgian in a separate deal.

Chelsea were considering bolstering their attack by signing Vlahovic from Juventus in exchange for Lukaku but have now given up on the move, according to multiple reports. The club now want to sell the Belgium international separately, either in Europe or to a club in Saudi Arabia.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Blues were located €15m away from Juventus’ €40m demand for a player-plus-money deal. Due to this disparity, the Premier League club decided to consider other solutions.

Apart from Chelsea, Real Madrid are also said to be interested in the Serbian striker in order to strengthen their attack. Los Blancos signed Joselu in the summer after Karim Benzema left.
