PSG, a problem solved with Mbappé

Hugo Ekitike’s slap to Ethan Mbappé, filmed on the PSG plane, shouldn’t cause any problems in the Parisian locker room.

It is a scene captured by Presnel Kimpembe and broadcast on Snapchat, which did not fail to make PSG supporters react. We see Hugo Ekitike, on the plane which brought back the Parisians from their Asian tour, giving a small slap to the young Ethan Mbappé.

It was then easy to imagine that Kylian Mbappé, the star of PSG, was not necessarily going to appreciate seeing his little brother undergo such treatment from his teammate. But there shouldn’t be a problem on that side, because the two players actually get along very well.

We don’t know if it was a voluntary step to calm things down on that side, but Ethan Mbappé posted a story on Tuesday to show his friendship with Ekitike, with a photo of the two of them smiling, in the center of PSG training.

So much the better for Ekitike who is still trying to find his place at PSG after a very average first season under the colors of the capital club. The former Rémois could also be sold, since he is attracting the interest of certain English clubs, while PSG would consider including him in the transfer of Randal Kolo Muani with Frankfurt.
