Former Real Madrid player and Belgium international Eden Hazard still hasn’t found a club this summer, and it’s proving to be much more difficult than one might have thought.
According Sport, Hazard hasn’t received any offers this summer. His contract expired in July and it was suggested that Major League Soccer’s Inter Miami could try to pair him with Lionel Messi, but the arrival of Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets put that idea to rest.
Hazard is only 32, but after his disastrous move to Real Madrid, it seems other clubs no longer have confidence in his ability to influence the course of matches.
Retirement has been talked about several times for Hazard, despite his relatively young age. Hazard has debunked those rumors in the past, saying he’s “rested for three years” and still has plenty of playing time ahead of him.
