Tottenham pay €50m for Micky van de Ven

New XXL transfer for Tottenham this summer. After the arrivals of James Maddison (Leicester) and Gugliemo Vicario (Empoli) for handsome sums, Spurs paid no less than 50 million euros to attract central defender from Wolfsburg Micky van de Ven.

The 22-year-old Dutch central defender remains on a good season in the Bundesliga. “We are delighted to announce the signing of Micky van de Ven from VfL Wolfsburg, subject to international clearance and work permit. The defender has signed a contract with the club until 2029 and will wear shirt number 37” can we read in a press release.
