Les Bleues face Morocco this Tuesday in Adelaide to reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

After a first phase with mixed results – a sluggish start to the tournament against Jamaica (0-0), a precious and controlled victory over Brazil (2-1), then a logical success and observed largesse against Panama (6- 3), the French attack the knockout phase of this World Cup 2023 against Morocco on Tuesday.

At stake is a place in the quarter-finals of the competition – a stadium that the Tricolores have already joined three times in their history, in 2011 (to invite themselves to the last four), in 2015 and in 2019.

To do this, the Bleues should be aligned in 4-4-2 with Kadidiatou Diani and Eugénie Le Sommer at the forefront according to the references of Hervé Renard. The only uncertainty in the starting lineup a priori concerning Maëlle Lakrar, potentially replaced by Elisa De Almeida.

In the event of qualification, the teammates of Wendie Renard will find Australia – country co-organizer of the tournament which defeated Denmark this Monday (2-0). With an insured premium of 80,000 euros (each) in the bag.

The probable line-up of Les Bleues: Peyraud-Magnin – Périsset, Lakrar or De Almeida, Renard, Karchaoui – Toletti, Geyoro, Dali, Bacha – Le Sommer, Diani.
