The adventure of Christopher Nkunku at Chelsea had started rather well but the new recruit was cut off in his tracks. Hit in the knee in a friendly match against Borussia Dortmund a few days ago, the former Parisian underwent surgery this morning, the Blues announced in a press release.
“Nkunku is the victim of a knee injury which will rule him out for a long time. The 25-year-old has undergone surgery and will now begin a rehabilitation program with the club’s medical service. According to The Telegraphthe French international will not be back until December, at least three and a half months away.
