Blues in danger

Four players from the France team, including 3 holders of the round of 16 of the World Cup against Morocco, this Tuesday (1 p.m.), are under the threat of suspension in the event of a warning.

After dominating Brazil (2-1) then Panama (6-3) to finish top of their Women’s World Cup group in Australia and New Zealand, the France team challenges Morocco in 8th final, this Tuesday in Adelaide (1 p.m. French time, live on M6). Hervé Renard’s Bleues risk coming up against Lionesses who are a surprise in the tournament.

Four French players are under threat of suspension if given a warning on Tuesday: left-back Sakina Karchaoui, midfielder Sandie Toletti and attacking midfielders Kenza Dali and Clara Mateo. Only Mateo is not established for the meeting, but it is one of the main offensive options of his coach on the bench.

In the event of qualification for the quarter-finals of the World Cup, the France team will challenge Australia, the host country, on Saturday, in front of the 50,000 people at Lang Park in Brisbane.
