And as the daily explains AS in its interior pages this Sunday, the Parisians still want to draw on the other side of the Pyrenees, and more particularly in Barcelona. The capital club has thus set its sights on Ansu Fati, who needs no introduction. An offer is in preparation, while Luis Enrique, who knew him in the selection, appreciates him very much.
Barça would not necessarily say no
On the Barcelona side, and still according to information from the Iberian newspaper, Xavi sees him mainly in a substitute role. And in this file, there are two elements which are very favorable to PSG. Firstly, the fact that the Spanish champions need to sell to register their new players with La Liga. Barca would be delighted to cash a nice check for their former huge prospect.
Then there is the Mendes factor. The super-agent is very influential at PSG, thanks to Luis Campos, but also at Barcelona, since he is close to Joan Laporta. The presence of the Portuguese in the deal could considerably facilitate the negotiations between the two clubs. For now, however, Ansu Fati has shown no desire to leave. But the prospect of finding Luis Enrique could make the difference…
